Job Title: Senior Fashion Designer

About the Role:

Quest Search and Selection is partnering with a leading fashion retail group in the Gulf region to hire a Senior Fashion Designer in Dubai. This role focuses on global fashion trends for women, ensuring innovative designs and high-quality collections. Key Responsibilities:

✅ Strategy & Planning

• Conduct in-depth market research on trends, fabrics, and techniques.
• Collaborate with the design team to create seasonal themes and mood boards.
• Align product development with the overall business strategy.
• Oversee the entire design process from concept to final styling.

✅ Designing

• Develop collections with 30-50 options, covering all fashion categories.
• Review and finalize collections with the Senior Designer and MD.
• Create CAD pre-designs and technical sheets (Tech Packs).

✅ Merchandising & Production

• Maintain and build relationships with suppliers.
• Coordinate sample production and approvals.
• Plan, review, and order collections to ensure timely arrivals.
• Negotiate pricing while ensuring high-quality standards.

✅ Studio & Photoshoots

• Supervise photoshoots, ensuring the collection is presented as envisioned.
• Assist stylists in selecting the perfect outfit combinations.

✅ People Management

• Lead, coach, and train the design team.
• Evaluate team performance and provide necessary support.

Requirements:

📌 Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Fashion Design, with expertise in creating fashion collections.
• Strong understanding of trends, styles, and color theory for innovative designs.
• Proven experience in the export fashion industry.
• In-depth knowledge of fabrics, colors, prints, and trims.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and CAD software.
