Job Title: Senior Engineer – Safety Compliance (Energy/Power)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Safety Compliance (Water & Power) to join a leading organization in the energy sector. This role focuses on ensuring safety compliance, conducting audits and inspections, and improving safety management systems to align with regulations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain safety compliance programs to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
• Conduct audits and inspections to evaluate operational safety and implement necessary improvements.
• Improve safety policies, risk assessments, and procedures to enhance workplace safety.
• Communicate and enforce safety requirements across the organization.
• Train employees on safety practices and compliance procedures to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Prepare incident reports, investigate safety concerns, and ensure timely reporting.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing safety measures and risk mitigation.
• Maintain detailed records of safety audits, inspections, and training sessions.
• Ensure safety performance aligns with company objectives and regulatory standards.
• Support Emiratization initiatives and contribute to employee training programs.
• Supervise and guide employees in safety-related tasks.
• Promote innovation, sustainability, and compliance with industry best practices.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
• With a Bachelor’s degree: 4 to 8 years of experience in safety compliance.
• With a Master’s degree: 2 to 4 years of experience in safety compliance.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in safety management tools and auditing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and training abilities to educate employees on safety practices.
