About the Role:
Al Salehi Machinery & Equipment Repairing, an authorized Bosch Diesel Service Center in Dubai, is looking for a Senior Engine Technician with strong expertise in diesel engine diagnostics, repair, and rebuilds. This role involves both hands-on technical work and leadership responsibilities, guiding junior technicians while ensuring compliance with Bosch and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex engine issues using computerized tools and manual methods.

• Perform engine repairs, overhauls, and system testing to ensure optimal performance.

• Conduct regular engine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks.

• Dismantle engines, inspect components, document parts, and prepare detailed rebuild part lists.

• Reassemble engines: crankshafts, pistons, timing systems, camshafts, cylinder heads, etc.

• Utilize precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to assess wear and damage.

• Supervise, mentor, and train junior technicians to enhance team performance.

• Maintain accurate service documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

• Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues and providing timely updates.

Requirements & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years as an engine technician; experience leading a workshop team is required.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of engine systems, diagnostics, and diesel fuel injection technology.

• Certifications: ASE or equivalent automotive certifications are highly preferred.

• Tools & Systems: Proficiency in using engine diagnostic software, micrometers, calipers, and rebuild tools.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, team leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Bosch systems, common-rail technology, and modern diesel systems is a plus.
