AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for building services projects, with a focus on entertainment projects. The role involves preparing detailed designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, and specialized installations.

Prepare detailed drawings and schematics in compliance with building codes and standards.

Specify electrical materials and components such as cables, panels, transformers, and switchgear.

Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless system integration.

Conduct site assessments, load calculations, and energy analyses to optimize design efficiency.

Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

Ensure designs meet local codes (IEC, NEC, BS7671) and client specifications.

Conduct design reviews and resolve electrical system integration or functionality issues.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design engineering for building services, preferably in entertainment projects.

Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux).

Familiarity with building regulations, safety standards, and electrical codes.

Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Professional accreditation (IET, CIBSE) is a plus.
