AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for building services projects, with a focus on entertainment projects. The role involves preparing detailed designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, and specialized installations.

• Prepare detailed drawings and schematics in compliance with building codes and standards.

• Specify electrical materials and components such as cables, panels, transformers, and switchgear.

• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless system integration.

• Conduct site assessments, load calculations, and energy analyses to optimize design efficiency.

• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

• Ensure designs meet local codes (IEC, NEC, BS7671) and client specifications.

• Conduct design reviews and resolve electrical system integration or functionality issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design engineering for building services, preferably in entertainment projects.

• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux).

• Familiarity with building regulations, safety standards, and electrical codes.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.

• Professional accreditation (IET, CIBSE) is a plus.
