Senior Electrical Engineer
Technip Energies Abu Dhabi , UAE

Technip Energies, a global leader in engineering and technology for the energy transition, is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi-based team. Reporting to the Head of Department, the selected candidate will be responsible for electrical design and analysis for large-scale oil & gas and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization focused on innovation, sustainability, and high-performance engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Electrical Design Basis documents and evaluate specifications for electrical equipment, automation systems, and bulk items.

  • Perform power system analysis including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, Harmonic Analysis, Arc Flash, Protection Relay Coordination, etc.

  • Utilize ETAP software for system modeling and analysis.

  • Apply extensive knowledge of electrical engineering standards, codes, and practices in the oil and gas sector.

  • Contribute to brownfield project evaluations and develop modification scopes for existing electrical equipment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality execution and compliance with project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • 12+ years of experience in electrical design within oil & gas or large industrial projects.

  • Proficiency in ETAP software is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (onshore & offshore).

  • Prior experience in brownfield projects is highly desirable.
