Job Purpose:

Penspen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 15+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically in gas processing projects. The selected candidate will lead electrical design activities, ensure compliance with industry standards, and provide technical expertise for PMC (Project Management Consultancy) roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design for gas processing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Develop electrical system layouts, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Oversee the preparation of electrical engineering deliverables (calculations, design documents, reports).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with other project disciplines.
• Review vendor documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure project compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring timely and budget-friendly design implementation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet all electrical engineering requirements.
• Ensure adherence to international electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct technical evaluations and recommend optimal electrical design solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

✅ Minimum Requirements:

• 15+ years of electrical engineering experience in the oil & gas industry, with a focus on gas processing projects.
• Proven expertise in electrical system design (power distribution, protection, and control systems).
• Strong experience in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) role.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
• In-depth knowledge of international electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
