A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager – MEP to lead complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design projects across large-scale developments. This full-time role is open exclusively to European nationals with a proven track record in the UAE construction industry and a minimum of 10 years’ MEP design leadership experience.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and supervise multidisciplinary MEP design teams for commercial and residential mega-projects

• Provide strategic oversight from concept design to project completion

• Mentor and coach junior designers, fostering a high-performance culture

📐 Technical Excellence

• Ensure full MEP integration with architectural and structural designs

• Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards

• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently across all project phases

🤝 Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Translate client requirements into innovative and cost-effective MEP design solutions

• Conduct client meetings and technical presentations, ensuring transparent communication

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve design and site issues

🌍 Innovation & Sustainability

• Integrate sustainable design principles and energy-efficient practices

• Stay updated with emerging MEP technologies and trends for continuous innovation

• Champion the adoption of BIM, Revit, and other advanced digital tools

✅ Candidate Requirements:

✔️ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
✔️ 10–16 years’ experience in MEP design management, with UAE or GCC experience preferred
✔️ Professional certifications (e.g., CEng, IEng) are highly preferred
✔️ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant engineering software
✔️ Strong team leadership, project management, and technical reporting skills
✔️ Fluent in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus
✔️ Must hold a valid European passport and be eligible to work in the UAE
