Mammoet is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Dubai. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on cloud-based data engineering and AI/ML systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide high-quality data solutions, ensuring efficient processing and storage of large datasets.

Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Design & Maintenance:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines, supporting analytics and real-time data from IoT devices.

  • Optimize data storage, flow, and integration strategies.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data quality and consistency.

  • Provide on-call support and monitoring for data pipelines.

  • Design, monitor, and maintain machine learning pipelines and APIs.

  • Debug and support AI/ML models in production, diagnosing data issues and inference failures.

  • Mentor and provide best practices for data engineering across the organization.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

• AI900, DP203 Microsoft certification or equivalent.

• Proven experience (3+ years) in data engineering, with a focus on data pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and PySpark.

• Advanced knowledge in cloud platforms like Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Snowflake.

• Experience with data orchestration tools and CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps).

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Experience with ML and AI solutions.
