We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant Psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. In this role, you will provide expert psychiatric care, diagnosing and treating a range of mental health disorders while working closely with a multidisciplinary team. This position requires strong clinical expertise, cultural sensitivity, and a patient-centered approach, catering to both local Emirati and expatriate populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, reviewing medical histories and gathering additional insights from family members and psychologists.
• Diagnose and manage various mental health disorders, formulating individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans, incorporating psychotherapy and pharmacological treatments.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Interpret medical tests and psychological assessments to refine treatment approaches.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals when hospitalization or specialized care is required.
• Provide guidance and coping strategies to patients dealing with mental health conditions.
• Educate and support families and caregivers, offering insights into patient conditions and treatments.
• Stay updated with new psychiatric treatments and research to enhance clinical practice.

Requirements:

• Specialization degree and Residency program in Psychiatry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Psychiatrist.
• Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques and modern treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to explain medical conditions to a non-medical audience.
• Strong diagnostic and observational skills to assess patient behavior and symptoms accurately.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach, particularly when handling severe mental disorders.
• MD or Bachelor’s degree in Medicine with a specialization in Psychiatry.
