TEIS Super General Trading FZE is seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemist for their paint manufacturing division in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for professionals with 10+ years of experience in formulating and producing solvent-based, water-based, and industrial paints. The successful candidate will work on new product development, quality control, and process optimization, while ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and optimize solvent-based, water-based, and industrial coatings

• Conduct lab and pilot trials for new products

• Implement and monitor QC procedures and batch consistency

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure compliance with EHS regulations

• Work closely with procurement, marketing, and production teams

• Evaluate new raw materials and manage supplier communication

• Maintain accurate technical records and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in the paint or coatings industry

• Deep knowledge of resins, solvents, pigments, and additives

• Familiarity with ISO, ASTM, and QC standards in coatings

• Experience with lab equipment (e.g., viscometers, spectrophotometers)

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills

• Awareness of environmental and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in automotive or marine coatings

• Familiarity with color matching systems and tinting technologies

• Multilingual abilities are a plus
