Position: Senior Bid Manager / Pre-Construction Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: AED 53,000 – 57,500 per month + Flights & Medical

A prestigious Main Contractor with over 50 years of success and 550+ completed projects across luxury hotels, high-rise towers, and commercial developments in the UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager to oversee technical bid submissions for large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bid Strategy & Management: Lead and coordinate pre-construction bids for high-value projects, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.

• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Estimation, QHSE, Technical, Planning Controls, and MEP teams to align project strategies.

• Client Engagement & Negotiation: Build strong client relationships, ensuring alignment on delivery methods, procurement strategies, and sub-contractor selection.

• Risk Assessment & Value Engineering: Evaluate project risks, soil conditions, lifting strategies, and construction methods to enhance efficiency and profitability.

• Program Optimization: Analyze project schedules to identify opportunities for time and cost savings.

• Site Visits & Stakeholder Communication: Travel as needed to meet clients, assess project sites, and evaluate potential risks.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• Experience: Minimum 12 years of post-graduate experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE handling Design & Build tenders.

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of lump sum contracts, project scheduling, and construction methodologies.

• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with construction management software; capable of actioning tasks independently.

• Industry Network: Established relationships with UAE clients, consultants, and supply chains.

• Communication Skills: Ability to articulate technical details effectively during meetings and presentations.

Work Environment & Benefits:

• Office Location: Dubai Head Office (Not a hybrid role)

• Working Hours: 5-day workweek (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility during bid submissions).

• Travel: Required for client meetings and site assessments.
