Position Title: Senior Architect / Project Leader

Salary: AED 30,000 to 35,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)

About the Client:
Our client is a leading global design consultancy, seeking a Senior Architect / Project Leader to join their team in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead high-profile, iconic new-build projects across the Emirates. With a focus on quality and functionality, the Senior Architect will drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with international standards and delivering world-class results for high-profile clients and government bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead Architect and management team in overseeing architectural design processes.

• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and construction material recommendations.

• Assist with preparing and administering concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documents.

• Adapt plans to meet project goals and resolve any issues to stay within budget and timelines.

• Ensure designs adhere to building codes, standards, and regulations.

• Research and recommend building products based on efficiency and value.

• Produce building plans using CAD software and technical drawing tools.

• Lead the design development process, ensuring alignment with client requirements, budget, and timeline.

• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for integrated architectural solutions.

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from client briefing through design delivery and contract administration.

• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks to ensure project milestones are met.

• Mentor junior staff, encouraging knowledge sharing and fostering a collaborative team environment.

• Act as the primary liaison with clients, government agencies, and approval authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Lead presentations, design reviews, and refine designs based on client feedback.

• Contribute to business development efforts by supporting bids, proposals, and presentations.

• Ensure designs meet international and regional building codes and sustainability guidelines.

• Conduct quality control reviews to meet client expectations and regulatory standards.

• Contribute to project budgeting, procurement, and defining project delivery methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (MSc preferred).

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Architecture, with a focus on iconic regional projects.

• Proven track record in managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets.

• Strong understanding of project delivery methods, including feasibility studies, construction documentation, and post-occupancy evaluations.

• Excellent stakeholder management and business development skills.

• Leadership experience with cross-functional design and delivery teams.

• Proactive, self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to professionalism.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and maintain leadership roles in high-pressure situations.
