Our award-winning Architecture & Design client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join their team in Dubai. The role will focus on hospitality, residential, and mixed-use high-rise projects across the UAE and MENA region.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Schematic Design (SD) and Detail Design (DD) phases, with proven regional experience in design development and multidisciplinary coordination. A background in leading design projects with recognised consultancy firms is essential.

This opportunity is available for immediate joining on an initial 3-month contract, employed via J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs in Revit with a strong focus on schematic and detail design phases.

• Lead a team of designers, review drafts, computer models, and approve design changes/deliverables.

• Coordinate architectural design with Structural and MEP Engineers.

• Prepare drawings, technical details, and design documentation.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to create detailed BIM models.

• Apply BIM best practices to maintain efficiency and quality across projects.

• Conduct clash detection and model reviews to resolve design conflicts.

• Produce construction documentation, including plans, elevations, and sections.

• Assist in the development of BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM protocols.

• Stay updated with trends, tools, and technologies in BIM and architectural design.

• Mentor and guide junior staff on Revit workflows and BIM processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

• Minimum 8 years’ professional experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE with reputable design consultancies.

• Strong technical detailing, spatial planning, and multidisciplinary design coordination experience.

• Proven portfolio in large-scale hospitality, residential, and mixed-use projects.

• Software proficiency: Autodesk Revit (essential); Rhino, Grasshopper, and Enscape (preferred).

• Excellent knowledge of schematic and detail design processes.

• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
