The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is seeking a Senior Accountant (UAE Nationals Only) to handle financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The role involves preparing financial statements, estimating revenues and expenditures, and monitoring budget performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements and prepare budget forecasts.
• Develop assumptions for income and expenditure justifications.
• Estimate operating and capital expenditures based on trends and business plans.
• Prepare and monitor Agency budgets for revenues, manpower, and expenditures.
• Track budget vs. actual variances and report to the Budget Manager.
• Issue monthly and periodic financial statements.
• Coordinate with HR for manpower budgeting, including associated employee costs.
• Ensure accurate estimation of revenues based on contracts and financial trends.

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (0-2 years experience).
  • OR Financial Diploma (4 years experience).
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications.
