Senior Accountant – Oil & Gas Industry

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will have solid UAE accounting experience, strong leadership capabilities, and in-depth knowledge of tax compliance and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and reconciliation schedules.

• Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and payment tracking.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning processes.

• Manage monthly payroll and related reporting.

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring smooth departmental operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven accounting experience in the UAE (minimum 5 years preferred).

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations.

• Proficient in accounting software, preferably Zoho Books.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Positive, proactive, and team-focused mindset.
