Job Title: Senior Accountant 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations for a leading industrial services provider in the oil and gas sector, based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and monthly closings, with a strong grasp of international accounting standards and extensive experience in Oil & Gas Construction or Marine industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly and year-end closing of accounts and ensure timely financial reporting.

• Conduct in-depth general ledger and cost center reviews to maintain financial accuracy.

• Supervise and verify daily cash closings and voucher documentation.

• Prepare and submit accurate financial reports for banks, tenders, management, or other stakeholders as required.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, UAE labor law, and international accounting and auditing standards.

• Collaborate with other departments for financial planning, budgeting, and cost control.

• Salary: Up to 15,000 AED all-inclusive, based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications:

• Open to Asian nationalities (Indian & Filipino), 45 years old and below

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 8+ years of experience, with 3–5 years in the UAE in Oil & Gas/Marine Construction

• Solid understanding of international accounting standards, management and financial accounting

• Proficient in Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently
