Job Title: Senior Accountant 

Job Description:

Wealth-i Group of Companies is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Dubai-based team. This role requires a high-performing financial professional with strong leadership skills, in-depth accounting knowledge, and a strategic mindset. As part of our core finance department, you will play a crucial role in delivering financial insights, leading audits, and ensuring compliance across multi-entity operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the preparation of timely, accurate, and consolidated financial statements across group entities.

• Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and documentation standards.

• Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls to protect assets and ensure data accuracy.

• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior executives and board members.

• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize reporting processes through modern financial tools and technologies.

• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

• Collaborate with various departments to create budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

• Keep updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, and implement necessary changes in internal procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• CPA or CMA certification

• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including team leadership roles

• Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and compliance frameworks

• Proficiency in accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, SAP, and ERP systems

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to financial accuracy

• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders

Nice-to-Have:

• Expertise in advanced Excel functions, macros, and financial modeling

• Experience managing audits and adapting to changing regulatory requirements
