Job Description:

Cigna is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join its team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients across the Middle East and Africa. The Senior Account Manager will act as a strategic advisor and liaison, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing client relationships to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.

  • Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries to support client engagement.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters and legal teams, to prepare competitive proposals.

  • Identify and pursue cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the existing client base.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and intermediaries for renewals and new business development.

  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Healthcare Services teams to address and resolve client issues.

  • Contribute to product development and improvements based on client feedback and market trends.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, invoicing accuracy, and internal policy adherence.

  • Provide strategic insight and timely reporting to management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a corporate client management role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident public speaker.

  • Strong experience in managing Tier 1 and mid-market insurance policies in the Middle East and Africa.

  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts clearly.

  • Proven track record of driving business results and managing large corporate client portfolios.

  • Skilled in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and influencing key decision-makers.

  • Familiarity with regional regulations and market dynamics.

  • Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a flexible and proactive approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or Business preferred).

  • Agile Project Management knowledge or certification is a plus.

  • Experience in health and wellbeing industries is advantageous.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Additional Information:

  • Travel: 10% – 25% expected.

  • Flexibility in working hours is required to cater to regional client needs.
