Job Title: Section Head – Release & Deployment Governance

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Section Head – Release & Deployment Governance to lead the strategic planning, governance, and automation of release and deployment operations within a large-scale enterprise environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in CI/CD, cloud automation, and risk management, alongside strong stakeholder and vendor relationship management to ensure seamless deployments and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce release and deployment governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, consistency, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee deployment operations, driving CI/CD automation, and ensuring smooth collaboration across development, operations, and business units.
• Conduct risk and impact assessments, identifying potential disruptions and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and vendor compliance with established standards.
• Define and track KPIs, conducting post-release reviews and generating reports to drive continuous process improvements.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, leveraging cloud platforms and scripting expertise to enhance automation and deployment efficiency.
• Drive strategic IT planning and policy development, contributing to the organization’s long-term technology roadmap.

Requirements:

• UAE National opportunity
• 10+ years of experience in release and deployment management, with expertise in CI/CD, cloud automation, and IT governance.
• Strong background in strategic planning, governance, and policy development for release management.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), automation, and scripting languages.
• Experience in risk assessment, issue resolution, and vendor compliance management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Relevant qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ITIL Foundation, and DevOps certifications.
