Job Title: Section Head – Release & Deployment

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Section Head – Release & Deployment to lead strategic planning, governance, and execution of software release and deployment operations. This role ensures smooth, automated deployments while managing risks, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking, policy development, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement governance frameworks and policies for release and deployment management.
• Oversee deployment operations, leading automation efforts for CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and vendor relationships to ensure compliance with standards.
• Define and monitor KPIs, conduct post-release reviews, and drive continuous improvements.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines using cloud platforms and automation tools.
• Contribute to strategic IT planning and policy development.

Requirements:

• UAE National opportunity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in release and deployment management.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and scripting languages.
• Strong skills in governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and process automation.
• ITIL Foundation and DevOps certifications preferred.
