Job Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Science Teacher with a specialization in Physics to join GEMS FirstPoint School (FPS) in Dubai for an August 2025 start. FPS is a Premium British Curriculum School that provides an outstanding education to over 2,000 students from Nursery to Year 13. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science (Physics) lessons in line with the British Curriculum.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Utilize technology and interactive teaching methods to enhance student understanding.
• Monitor student progress, assess attainment, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support and mentor students with different learning needs, including ESL learners, gifted students, and those requiring additional academic support.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging, and inspiring learning environment.
• Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
• Engage in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching standards.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership regarding student progress and development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Physics) or a related field.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in a British Curriculum school (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of A-Levels, GCSEs, and BTECs in Science subjects.
• Experience using modern teaching strategies, educational technology, and assessment tools.
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and participation in professional training programs such as NPQ courses.
• A passion for education, student success, and fostering a love for learning.

Additional Requirements:

• A UK-enhanced DBS or an equivalent police clearance certificate is required for all applicants.
