A reputed school in Al Ain is seeking a qualified School Counselor to support students’ academic, social, emotional, and career development. The counselor will provide professional guidance, create a safe and supportive learning environment, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and external agencies when necessary. This role requires fluency in Arabic and strong English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and support students in academic, personal, social, and career development.

• Track student progress and provide timely interventions when required.

• Communicate with parents regarding student behavior, concerns, and growth.

• Assist students with job search, resume writing, and interview preparation.

• Help students manage personal, social, or behavioral challenges effectively.

• Promote life skills and preventive measures to address challenges early.

• Identify and address issues that may impact learning outcomes.

• Support students in selecting school courses aligned with their goals.

• Maintain updated career and resource materials for student exploration.

• Encourage healthy social skills, peer relationships, and self-awareness.

• Recognize cultural influences on student behavior and growth.

• Refer students with social or emotional difficulties to external support when necessary.

• Ensure confidentiality while safeguarding student well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with students in a school environment.

• Must be an Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and guidance skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with professionalism.
