Job Title: Sales & Business Development Executive 

Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to specialize in NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) and Freight Forwarding services. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in the UAE logistics market, exceptional sales expertise, and a deep understanding of freight operations, supply chain solutions, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive new business acquisition for NVOCC and freight forwarding services.

  • Consistently achieve sales targets by securing and retaining key clients in the UAE market.

  • Create and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals to meet client needs.

Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base and market presence.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Build and nurture relationships with shipping lines, vendors, and key industry stakeholders.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

  • Proactively manage and resolve client issues to ensure optimal service delivery.

  • Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure their requirements are met and exceeded.

Operations Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless freight operations and timely service delivery.

  • Provide accurate pricing quotes and logistics service options to clients based on their requirements.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Regularly update sales reports, client activity logs, and revenue projections.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing strategies.

Key Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in NVOCC and freight forwarding sales within the UAE.

  • Strong understanding of the UAE logistics market, customs regulations, and industry best practices.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.

Other Requirements:

  • Established client portfolio within the UAE market.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for effective reporting and client management.

  • A valid UAE driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed (preferred).
