We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in the steel trading industry. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales support, customer service, and international trade. The successful candidate will assist our sales team in managing customer relationships, processing transactions, and ensuring a smooth sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team.

• Process customer orders and inquiries efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.

• Prepare quotations, sales reports, and other necessary documentation.

• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.

• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely product deliveries.

• Obtain and verify necessary details for processing letters of credit.

• Stay updated on international trade regulations, UAE trade laws, and Incoterms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience handling letters of credit or related financial transactions.

• 2 years of experience as a sales assistant in the steel trading industry (preferred).

• Strong understanding of Incoterms and international trade processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software.

• Fluency in English is required; Japanese language skills are a plus.

• A proactive attitude with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
