Navi Star Shipping DMCC is actively hiring a Sailing Master for their LPG Carrier Vessel. This position offers a unique opportunity to begin with a short onboard assignment as Owner’s Representative (approx. 2 months), followed by a long-term permanent role as Master. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with LPG vessel operations and prior seatime as Chief Mate. This is a dynamic role for individuals passionate about ship management and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Navi Star Shipping’s onboard representative during the transition period.

• Monitor vessel performance, technical operations, and onboard conditions.

• Oversee LPG cargo operations ensuring system functionality and compliance.

• Assess hull condition, cargo equipment performance, and onboard safety practices.

• Submit detailed reports to the shore-based technical team.

• Proactively uphold safety protocols and ensure ISM/ISPS compliance.

• Report failures, incidents, or irregularities immediately.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (CoC) and current STCW certifications.

• Proven seatime as Chief Mate on LPG carriers.

• Deep knowledge of LPG cargo operations and international safety standards.

• Familiar with ISM, ISPS, and other global maritime regulations.

• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.

Contract Details:

• Initial onboard assignment (~2 months) followed by full-time Master position.

• Rotational contract structure leading to long-term engagement.
