e7 Group is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental operations in a warehouse and logistics setting. This full-time, on-site role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on ensuring compliance with local and international HSE standards through proactive risk management and employee training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to monitor compliance with HSE standards.

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and company regulations.

• Provide HSE induction and periodic safety training to employees and contractors.

• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

• Monitor the condition and proper usage of safety equipment and PPE.

• Support logistics and warehouse operations by ensuring safe practices in material handling and equipment use.

• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, permits, and training.

• Lead and participate in emergency response drills and preparedness planning.

• Foster a culture of safety through engagement and awareness programs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in an HSE role, ideally in logistics, warehousing, or industrial sectors.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and risk management.

• Capable of delivering HSE training and conducting investigations.

• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Knowledge of warehouse equipment safety and handling procedures.

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and team collaboration.
