Talal Group of Companies is looking for a Retail Fitout Engineer to lead the planning and execution of retail store environments. This full-time role is critical in ensuring that new store openings and refurbishments align with brand standards and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of store layouts to optimize customer flow, visual merchandising, and product accessibility

• Collaborate with category managers to convert commercial plans into effective floor plans

• Manage stock arrangements, shelf stocking plans, and in-store product displays

• Oversee the shop fit-out tendering process, ensuring compliance with safety, design, and branding standards

• Coordinate cross-functional teams during new store openings, including decor, marketing, and purchasing

• Guide replanogramming and store optimization based on customer behavior, product performance, and space utilization

• Conduct periodic store audits to identify and correct merchandising inconsistencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Management, or a related field

• 3–5 years of experience in retail fit-outs, merchandising, or store development

• Proficiency with layout planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SmartDraw) and retail analytics platforms

• Strong project management experience, with knowledge of tendering, vendor selection, and construction supervision

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Frequent travel to retail sites required
