J10 Consulting is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Infrastructure) to join a leading Global PMC in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an 8-month contract role, offering an opportunity to lead a major infrastructure project in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Engineer, overseeing the construction of roadworks and associated infrastructure.
• Communicate with contractors and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Supervise construction teams, including site engineers, inspectors, and surveyors.
• Provide recommendations for contractor payments, claims, and variation orders.
• Review design proposals, material submissions, and method statements.
• Monitor project progress, conduct quality control, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and authorities.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and ensure contract administration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects, with a strong background in supervision and construction management.
• Proven experience managing clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
• Expertise in quality assurance, statistical quality control, and contractual relationships.
• Proficient in engineering software and project management tools.
