🔹 Job Overview:

We are looking for a Research and Development (R&D) Specialist with 1–3 years of experience in the food industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new food products, improving existing recipes, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support scale-up for commercial production.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

🍽 Product Development:

• Lead the end-to-end development of innovative food products aligned with business objectives

• Optimize recipes for taste, texture, nutrition, cost-efficiency, and production feasibility

• Collaborate with procurement to source suitable ingredients

• Support lab-to-factory scale-up in coordination with operations and QA teams

• Continuously enhance existing products based on trends and customer feedback

• Provide regular development progress reports

👃 Sensory Evaluation:

• Design and conduct sensory tests and analyze outcomes

• Translate sensory insights into technical improvements

• Document sensory protocols and share clear, actionable findings with stakeholders

🧪 Compliance & Quality:

• Ensure product and process compliance with local and international food safety standards

• Maintain regulatory documentation and audit readiness

• Conduct shelf-life testing and resolve quality issues during production

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, production, procurement, and supply chain for product launch readiness

• Collaborate with suppliers for alternative ingredient sourcing

• Actively participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives

🗂 Project Management & Documentation:

• Maintain technical documentation, product specifications, formulation records, and artwork

• Track development stages, including trials, revisions, and production adjustments

• Prepare technical reports and conduct audits for continuous improvement
