Mashreq Bank is looking for a Relationship Manager to oversee and manage existing Small Enterprise (SE) relationships while sourcing new ones. This role focuses on delivering financial results through cross-selling and managing customer relationships across borrowing and non-borrowing accounts. A key aspect of the role is ensuring quality portfolio management with a focus on compliance and risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Relationship Management: Manage and deepen relationships within the assigned portfolio, aiming to be the primary bank for each relationship.

• Revenue Generation: Cross-sell a wide range of banking products to improve share of wallet and maximize earnings from borrowing and non-borrowing accounts.

• Credit Reviews: Conduct periodic credit facility reviews in line with the bank’s policies, ensuring risk management while recommending appropriate credit facilities.

• Portfolio Monitoring: Ensure quality portfolio management by monitoring account conduct and addressing credit-related issues early.

• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to KYC, anti-money laundering, and other regulatory policies.

• New Business Sourcing: Screen the market for new-to-bank (NTB) opportunities and collaborate with internal and external advisors for agreement precision.

• Team Development: Mentor team members and help them grow professionally, preparing them for higher levels of responsibility.

• Market Insights: Regularly upgrade SE customers to ME segments based on their profile and requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 4+ years of relevant banking experience in local or international markets, especially in relationship management and sales.

• Education: MBA/CA or adequate relevant experience for regular graduates.

• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Attributes: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team player with good understanding of credit, trade, and legal matters.
