Vale, a global leader in the mining industry, is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Regional Origination & Business Development Specialist to support its operations in Oceania. Based in Dubai, this hybrid full-time role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives, drive regional growth, and play a pivotal role in expanding strategic collaborations across Asia-Pacific.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead business development negotiations and develop strategic growth plans

• Drive and formalize regional collaborations into structured partnership frameworks

• Expand market presence and integrate high-quality value propositions across Oceania

• Support and enhance global supply networks

• Participate in international travel for partner development and project support

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

• MBA or postgraduate degree from a top-tier institution (Finance or General Management preferred)

• 10+ years of experience in the Metals & Mining, Steel, or related heavy industries

• Strong business development experience with proven success in deal structuring

• Expertise in financial evaluation, economic modeling, and strategic analysis

• Deep understanding of commodity markets, mining and metallurgy processes, and sustainability trends including decarbonization

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese is a significant plus
