Ipsen is seeking an experienced Regional Medical Head to lead the Middle East, Africa, and Maghreb (MEAM) region. This high-impact leadership role will drive Ipsen’s medical strategy, cross-functional alignment, and operational excellence across regional markets.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Lead medical strategy and execution across MEAM

• Support affiliate Medical Directors and develop medical capabilities

• Share best practices and ensure strong cross-functional partnerships

Regional Collaboration & Advocacy

• Bridge local, regional, and global medical teams

• Advocate for local participation in clinical trials, RWE, ISS, and genetic testing

• Represent MEAM in global medical forums

Launch & Resource Readiness

• Oversee medical aspects of launch readiness (LRR)

• Guide medical resource planning and local implementation

Project & People Leadership

• Lead cross-country initiatives and drive medical insights

• Align medical and commercial strategy through the regional leadership team

• Promote medical excellence and knowledge sharing across countries

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Advanced Degree: MD, PhD, or PharmD

• Experience:

  • Regional/global medical leadership in pharma

  • Cross-functional and project management experience

  • Team management with strong mentorship capabilities

• Preferred:

  • Real-World Evidence (RWE) expertise

  • Leadership in clinical studies or audits
