GEMS Education is seeking a professional Receptionist Front of House to serve as the first point of contact for the school. This role is pivotal in creating a distinguished and welcoming experience for parents, prospective families, visitors, staff, and students, reflecting the school’s core values of excellence, courtesy, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely information regarding school life, including location, curriculum, admissions procedures, and school tours, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors.

Manage all telephone and in-person enquiries courteously, directing queries efficiently and discreetly to the appropriate staff.

Offer a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, upholding GEMS Education’s reputation as a centre of excellence.

Support the Admissions team by following up on enquiries, assisting with lead conversion, updating the CRM system, conducting school tours when required, cross-referring families to other GEMS schools with availability, and participating in enrolment-related events.

Maintain proactive communication with new and prospective parents, handling feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.

Uphold and promote GEMS Education’s policies, procedures, and code of conduct at all times.

Attend staff meetings and contribute to committees as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (mandatory requirement).

Outstanding command of the English language, both verbal and written.

Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a polished and professional demeanor.

Comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people, creating a warm and lasting impression.

Ability to remain calm, composed, and efficient during peak periods.

Fluency in a second language is considered an advantage.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students and staff. A UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is required.
