BRF, one of the largest global food companies, is looking for an R&D Specialist – RO to support its Glocal Accounts team in the Middle East. The role focuses on product innovation, cost optimization, and process improvement in food production, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Work with external suppliers to optimize technical and product support.
✅ Improve cost efficiency, resources, and execution of strategic SKUs.
✅ Oversee product approvals, trials, and performance tracking for continuous improvement.
✅ Manage R&D budgets for strategic food service initiatives.
✅ Ensure compliance with food legislation in the Middle East (GSO).
✅ Collaborate with production & engineering teams for new product lines.
✅ Organize innovation days, trials, and training sessions.
✅ Expand local food service accounts to optimize production lines and reduce dependence on major global accounts.

🔹 Requirements:
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
✔️ 8+ years of experience in the food industry, with at least 4 years in the Middle East.
✔️ Strong understanding of GSO food legislation in the region.
✔️ Fluency in English (Arabic/Portuguese is a plus).
✔️ Experience with Burger, Calibrated, Marinated, Cold Cuts, and Breaded lines.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SAP.
✔️ Ability to travel across GCC countries for business needs.
