SUEZ is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a temporary/fixed-term contract focused on sewage and wastewater network investigation and refurbishment projects. The role is responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, financial management, and contract compliance, supporting project teams to achieve cost efficiency and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Management & Estimation:

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for sewage network projects.

• Monitor project budgets and track variations in costs throughout the construction cycle.

• Evaluate completed work and arrange payments to contractors and suppliers.

• Conduct cost analysis, negotiate contract terms, and manage claims/variation orders.

• Propose cost-saving measures and contribute to value engineering processes.

Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve cost-related issues.

• Conduct site visits to verify quantities, project progress, and report to Project Management based on KPIs.

• Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports and cash flow documentation.

• Support procurement planning and control to ensure project costs remain within budget.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• 4–5 years of experience in sewage network projects, construction, or refurbishment.

• Strong knowledge of construction and repair methods, materials, and industry standards.

• Proficient in quantity surveying software (AutoCAD, MS Excel).

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.

• Strong communication, reporting, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.

• Abu Dhabi residency and valid driving license required.
