Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Contract Engineer to join our project management team and take charge of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration for high-end interior fit-out and renovation projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil or interior works, combined with hands-on experience in pre- and post-contract stages, financial reporting, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial and contractual aspects of interior fit-out/renovation projects.

• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation based on project specs and drawings.

• Evaluate vendor quotations and subcontractor pricing to ensure cost-effective project execution.

• Conduct regular cost analysis, forecasting, and risk assessments.

• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle and prepare progress and variance reports.

• Ensure timely submission and verification of contractor invoices and payment certificates.

• Prepare and negotiate claims, variations, and final accounts with supporting documentation.

• Maintain clear communication with project managers, procurement teams, engineers, consultants, and contractors.

• Use digital tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, CCS (Candy), CostX, PlanSwift, and SAP/ERP for cost management and reporting.

• Maintain organized records of bids, estimates, contracts, and cost data for future reference.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pre- and post-contract quantity surveying, especially in construction, interior fit-out, or finishing projects in the UAE.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong command of contractual frameworks, claims management, and project cost control.

• Experience with Methods of Measurement (POMI, CESMM, NRM, etc.).

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficient in cost management software (CCS Candy, CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam).

• Familiarity with SAP and ERP systems.
