Deloitte is seeking a Quality & Risk | Client Acceptance Associate to join their team in Sharjah. This role involves following KYC/AML processes for new and existing clients/vendors, performing AML risk assessments, and managing compliance-related functions. The ideal candidate will assist with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews and work with key stakeholders to improve processes and foster a compliance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct due diligence and raise concerns about client/vendor compliance issues.

• Perform AML risk assessments and identify potential risks, escalating concerns as needed.

• Comply with internal policies and procedures related to KYC/AML.

• Assist in reviewing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) data.

• Maintain effective communication with teams regarding compliance issues and responsibilities.

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and share knowledge to develop a culture of compliance.

• Manage the centralized KYC mailbox, responding to queries accurately and efficiently.

• Escalate client/engagement-related risks to the quality risk representative.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Preferred work experience in KYC/AML, due diligence, or compliance roles.

• Ability to think strategically and assist in managing multi-disciplinary teams.

• Strong research skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken), proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
