Quality & Risk | Client Acceptance – Associate (UAE National)

Deloitte, one of the world’s most prestigious professional services firms, is seeking a Quality & Risk Associate (UAE National) for its Sharjah office. This on-site role is part of the firm’s Quality & Risk Management function, with a focus on client acceptance and compliance. As a part of Deloitte’s commitment to nationalization and excellence, this opportunity is open exclusively to UAE Nationals. Candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the firm’s adherence to KYC/AML procedures and global compliance standards while working within a highly respected and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes for new and existing clients/vendors in accordance with global and local Deloitte policies.

  • Conduct AML risk assessments and flag high-risk situations, escalating where appropriate.

  • Assist in Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews, including trigger events and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).

  • Maintain and monitor centralized KYC mailbox, ensuring accurate and timely responses to compliance queries.

  • Identify and escalate client or engagement-related risks to the quality risk team.

  • Engage with stakeholders across Deloitte offices to improve processes, share knowledge, and cultivate a culture of compliance.

  • Clearly communicate compliance analyses and findings to management and business teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Prior experience in KYC/AML, compliance, or due diligence is preferred.

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage projects and work in multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Eligibility:

  • This position is open only to UAE Nationals in support of the Emiratization initiative.
