Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) is seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer to ensure the quality and compliance of construction activities across Civil, Architectural, and Structural disciplines. This full-time, on-site role focuses on implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System (QMS), conducting inspections, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures across all construction activities.

• Develop method statements, risk assessments, ITPs, and checklists.

• Conduct daily inspections, testing, and verification of materials and workmanship.

• Review and approve site QC submittals, materials, and technical documentation.

• Coordinate QA/QC activities with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Ensure timely closure of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and site instructions (SI).

• Guide and supervise site QC inspectors and project staff.

• Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and compliance records.

• Ensure safety standards are upheld during QA/QC activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction projects, preferably multidisciplinary.

• Strong knowledge of international and local QA/QC standards.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with site teams, consultants, and clients.
