Role Overview

Ultimate HR Solutions is hiring a QHSE Engineer on a 6-month temporary contract to support the Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) team for construction projects in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Implement & monitor HSE management systems on-site.
✅ Conduct daily safety inspections & audits to identify risks.
✅ Deliver HSE training to improve safety awareness among teams.
✅ Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
✅ Prepare risk assessments & HSE reports for project sites.
✅ Ensure proper work permits, PPE usage, and site compliance.
✅ Investigate incidents & near-misses and submit reports.
✅ Track environmental metrics, waste disposal & sustainability compliance.
✅ Liaise with government & regulatory authorities to maintain compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

🎓 Education: Engineering Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in HSE, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering).
📜 Certifications: OSHA, IOSH (NEBOSH IGC is a plus).
🛠️ Experience: 2-4 years in HSE Construction field.
🗣 Language: Excellent verbal & written English skills.
💻 Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
🤝 Soft Skills: Strong communication, decision-making & teamwork abilities.
