Penspen is seeking a qualified QA/QC Specialist (Mechanical/E&I) to join our on-site team in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time position suited for an experienced quality assurance and control professional with a strong background in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise QA/QC activities during the fabrication of mechanical and electrical/instrumentation (E&I) systems.

• Conduct inspections and testing in line with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality plans.

• Ensure fabrication work strictly adheres to engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.

• Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, and support corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with welding, electrical, and instrumentation teams to resolve quality-related issues.

• Maintain comprehensive quality records and generate reports for project stakeholders and clients.

• Assist with pre-commissioning tasks and punch-list activities in preparation for offshore loadout.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience within the oil and gas industry, with particular focus on offshore and fabrication yard operations.

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical fabrication and E&I systems, including installation and inspection processes.

• Strong familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, API, IEC, and IEEE.

• Recognized QA/QC certifications such as CSWIP, AWS, NACE, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are preferred.

• High attention to detail, with strong documentation and reporting skills.

• Offshore certification (e.g., BOSIET) is preferred or may be required depending on project scope.
