Reports To: Operations Manager / Team Leader

About the Role:

Bureau Veritas is seeking a qualified QA/QC Inspector to join its Building & Infrastructure team in Dubai. This role involves performing quality inspections of buildings, roads, tunnels, equipment, and installations to verify conformity with technical standards, specifications, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections based on reference requirements (standards, specifications, regulations)

• Execute quality inspections and report non-conformities

• Interpret inspection results and review inspection procedures

• Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas’ Quality System

• Promote BV services and maintain strong client relationships

• Submit timely and accurate inspection reports

• Enforce and comply with HSE policies and report incidents or hazards

• Participate in continual development and professional training

• Provide input for process improvements and safety enhancements

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Education:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering

Certifications & Training:

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (preferred)

• Awareness of international standards and codes

Experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in UAE, specifically in building projects

Technical Knowledge:

• For Junior Inspectors: Basic understanding of inspection techniques and ability to read drawings and method statements

• For Senior Inspectors: Proficient in inspection execution, result interpretation, and supervision of junior inspectors

Soft Skills:

• Customer-focused communication

• Results-oriented and self-motivated

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Personal integrity and accountability

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Requirements:

• Authorized to stop unsafe work

• Promote and comply with all HSE policies

• Report incidents, near misses, and hazards

• Use proper PPE and report any issues

• Cooperate with safety investigations and improvements

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Timely delivery and quality of inspection reports

• Adherence to inspection schedules

• Technical knowledge sharing and continual learning
