QA/QC Engineer – Bridges & Infrastructure (Dubai, UAE)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer specializing in Bridges & Infrastructure to join our team in Dubai. This role is crucial in ensuring quality control and compliance across all stages of bridge construction projects. You will oversee material inspections, quality documentation, site audits, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with consultants and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Inspections & Quality Control

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials (civil, structural, paint, and chemicals).

• Issue Material Inspection Reports (MIRs) in coordination with project engineers.

• Coordinate third-party material inspections and maintain inspection records.

• Perform site surveys, visual & dimensional inspections for bridges, steel structures, and maintenance works.

• Supervise paint inspections (Visual, DFT, RAL colors, etc.) and final project inspections.

• Act as the quality representative in site inspections with consultants/clients.

Documentation & Compliance

• Develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) as per project specifications and international standards.

• Prepare checklists, inspection forms, and method statements aligned with client requirements.

• Maintain logs of quality submittals, material approvals, and training certifications.

• Keep records of internal and third-party quality inspections.

Quality Management Systems

• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for internal or subcontractor violations.

• Assist in subcontractor evaluations and audits.

• Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and maintain compliance logs.

• Support QHSE initiatives, monthly meetings, and company policy adherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed university.

• 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC within the infrastructure and bridge construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and international quality standards.

• Must hold a valid UAE Driving License.

• Certifications (NACE, BGAS, or FROSIO) are a plus.
