Rejlers, a leading Nordic engineering consultancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The role is integral to ensuring that engineering projects, especially within the petrochemical and oil & gas sectors, meet stringent quality standards and client requirements.

As a QA/QC Engineer, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and maintaining quality assurance and control systems across various project phases including studies, FEED, and detailed engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering consultancy and be capable of effective coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement project quality plans, procedures, and ensure compliance with project and client standards.

• Review QA/QC aspects of project proposals, drawings, and specifications.

• Liaise with clients and subcontractors to develop and implement effective QA/QC systems.

• Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance.

• Develop QA/QC reports, statistics, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

• Identify and resolve quality-related issues throughout all stages of project delivery.

• Conduct training and inductions related to QHSE at site or project locations.

• Track and report quality metrics, nonconformities, and client feedback.

• Ensure close coordination between project teams and the company’s QHSE department.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.

• 6–10 years of QA/QC experience in engineering consultancy within the oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.

• Strong understanding of project delivery phases (Studies, FEED, Detailed Engineering).

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

• Strong understanding of project control and scheduling.

• Must meet UAE visa requirements and be available to join on short notice.

• Must possess values of teamwork, transparency, honesty, diversity, and equality.
