Role Overview:
Orbit ISS is seeking a QA/QC E&I Inspector – ARAMCO Certified with a valid SAP Number. The role involves inspection, verification, and quality control of electrical and instrumentation systems for offshore, shipyard, and heavy industrial projects. The inspector ensures compliance with ARAMCO standards, international codes, and project specifications while maintaining safety and documentation excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure inspection activities meet ARAMCO, international, and project-specific standards.

  • Review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for project execution.

  • Conduct in-process, final, and mechanical completion inspections for onshore and offshore projects.

  • Inspect incoming materials, validate vendor certificates, and confirm compliance.

  • Monitor installation of cable trays, junction boxes, control panels, telecom systems, and field instruments.

  • Witness and verify electrical testing, including HV/MV/LV cable testing, insulation resistance, and functional tests.

  • Inspect Ex-certified equipment, tubing installations, and perform leak tests.

  • Interpret and verify engineering drawings: P&IDs, SLDs, GADs, loop diagrams, and termination drawings.

  • Operate test equipment: multimeters, insulation testers, OTDRs, and calibrators.

  • Record findings, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve inspection issues.

  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports for timely client submission.

  • Enforce HSE compliance and exercise “Stop Work Authority” when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in inspection within oil & gas, shipyard, EPC, or offshore projects.

  • ARAMCO Approval with valid SAP Number (mandatory).

  • Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, ISO, and other international standards.

  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation.

  • Experience with mechanical completion systems, turnover packages, and QA/QC documentation.

  • Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently under pressure in multicultural environments.

  • Immediate availability for mobilization in the UAE.
