Job Title: Purchase Incharge 

Job Description:
PTI FABRICATION is actively looking for a skilled and dynamic Purchase Incharge to lead our procurement operations for steel fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, tools, and services. A strong grasp of local and international sourcing, combined with exceptional negotiation abilities and fluency in Hindi, is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure raw materials including structural steel, plates, pipes, fittings, and consumables

• Manage the full procurement cycle—from RFQs to issuing purchase orders and delivery follow-ups

• Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms

• Ensure all procurements align with project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards

• Coordinate closely with the stores, estimation, and production departments to forecast and plan material requirements

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

• Build and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, and maintain an approved supplier database

• Handle urgent and priority purchases effectively

Skills & Requirements:

• Fluent in Hindi (mandatory) and proficient in English communication

• Strong knowledge of procurement systems, Microsoft Office, and ERP tools

• Proven negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple concurrent orders

• Experience in the steel fabrication or construction industry is highly desirable
