Women First Jobs is actively hiring a skilled PTW (Permit to Work) Coordinator to join their team in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for experienced professionals with a solid understanding of PTW systems and safety regulations in the construction or EPC industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work activities at the project site are conducted safely and are fully compliant with regulatory and company standards.
Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the complete PTW process on the project site.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company-specific HSE standards.

Review and approve safety documentation, including hazard assessments, risk assessments, and job safety analysis reports.

Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to monitor work practices.

Maintain accurate records of all active and closed permits.
-
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other personnel to ensure safe execution of tasks.

Organize and conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and worker inductions.

Ensure equipment isolation procedures are implemented during high-risk activities.

Assist during emergency responses and contribute to incident investigations.

Support the development of safe work practices and standard operating procedures.

Provide PTW-related training and awareness sessions for on-site workers.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field (preferred).

Certifications in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the EPC or construction sectors.
Skills Required:

In-depth knowledge of Permit to Work systems, HSE regulations, and site safety standards.

Prior experience in solar energy projects is an advantage.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

Familiarity with PTW software tools and safety documentation processes.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
