Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou (LFIGP) is looking for a Proviseur (Principal) to lead its academic operations and represent the institution in various professional and governmental contexts. The role involves overseeing the educational quality, managing international relations, and working closely with the General Manager for shared governance. The position is open to candidates who have experience in educational leadership, particularly within French international schools.

Key Responsibilities:

📌 Leadership & Governance – Represent the school to local authorities, families, and partners, and ensure the strategic direction of the institution is aligned with French educational standards.
📌 Educational Excellence – Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the French national curriculum, in collaboration with faculty and administration.
📌 Innovative Pedagogy – Promote pedagogical innovation and improvement through continuous development of teaching practices.
📌 Team Management – Lead and develop both administrative and teaching teams with a focus on cooperation and academic rigor.
📌 International Relations – Strengthen the school’s international openness, working within a dynamic multicultural environment.
📌 Compliance & Standards – Oversee compliance with both French and local education regulations, including KHDA and AEFE requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:

📌 Educational Leadership – Minimum of 5 years’ experience in school leadership, especially at the secondary level, preferably in an international context.
📌 French Education System – Expertise in French educational programs, assessments, and reforms.
📌 Advanced Degree – Master’s degree or equivalent in education management or related fields.
📌 Leadership & Change Management – Proven track record in leading educational institutions, driving change, and implementing educational policies.
📌 Multicultural Competence – Ability to manage and thrive in a multicultural environment and engage with diverse stakeholders, including French and Emirati authorities.
📌 Fluency in French & English – Essential for communication with staff, authorities, and families.
