ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC UAE is seeking a Project Planning Engineer to develop and maintain detailed project schedules for design and build projects. The role involves preparing tender, baseline, and progress programs, ensuring on-time and cost-effective project execution, and supporting project teams in planning and monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and report cost- and resource-loaded project programs using Primavera (MS Projects).

• Collaborate with design, operational, and estimating teams to prepare baseline programs at contract award.

• Create procurement plans and track materials delivery schedules.

• Integrate subcontractor programs into a single, logically linked project schedule.

• Support Project Managers in managing change events and schedule updates.

• Analyze schedule, resource, cost, and risk data throughout project lifecycle to maintain the critical path.

• Build float into programs to ensure milestone confidence.

• Conduct site visits to verify project progress.

• Perform resource loading, resource leveling, and productivity analysis.

• Review and comment on Earned Value Management reports, S-curves, milestone slippage, and float erosion reports.

• Attend internal and external progress meetings to provide specialist planning support.

• Promote planning best practices and participate in business improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of experience in underground transmission power line projects.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (certification preferred, ideally from TAQA UAE).

• Strong knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience in procurement planning and materials delivery monitoring.

• Ability to perform resource loading, resource leveling, and productivity analysis.

• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and progress reporting (S-curves, milestone slippage, float analysis).

• TRANSCO Approval required.
