Job Title: Project Manager – Roads and Transportation

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager specializing in Roads and Transportation to lead infrastructure projects in the UAE. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep knowledge of project management principles within the transportation sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects, managing teams, and ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of roads and transportation projects.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community representatives.
• Implement project management methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor project progress and performance, proactively addressing any issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address unforeseen challenges.
• Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience (13+ years) in managing roads and transportation projects.
• Strong understanding of project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, focusing on collaboration and communication.
• Demonstrable experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of local transportation regulations and standards in the UAE.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
